Every year we celebrate and recognise staff and volunteers across the Trust, for their hard work and dedication, at our Achievement Awards. The awards recognise staff and volunteers who have successfully attained a qualification, achieved 25 years NHS service, demonstrated outstanding attendance, or who have made an outstanding contribution to their service.The awards recognise staff and volunteers that have successfully attained a qualification, who have achieved 25 years NHS service, had outstanding attendance, or who have made an outstanding contribution.
Nominations for the outstanding contribution awards are sent in from staff, service users and carers across the Trust. These six awards are highly sort after and were this year sponsored by some of the Trusts main suppliers. The awards were:

Ad Esse Consulting Making a Difference Award
Ad Esse is a specialist management consultancy, delivering sustainable performance improvement in the public and not-for-profit sectors. They work with clients based on the principles of Lean Thinking. Lean emphasises the need to design processes and structures to meet customer needs, and the importance of engaging staff on a daily basis in improving the way that services are delivered.
Norland Supporting Excellence Award
Norland provide a full suite of facilities, energy and project management services throughout the UK, Ireland, the US and EMEA.They offer preventative and reactive mechanical & electrical maintenance; building fabric refurbishment and soft services including front-of-house, cleaning, security, grounds and catering delivered as a managed service. They have an extensive project management team for large capital works and specialist energy management advisors working alongside their contract teams. They offer specialist maintenance services for critical environments such as data centres, manufacturing sites and clean-rooms.
Kier Construction Working Together Award
Kier Construction, based in Solihull is the local construction arm of the Kier Group, a leading construction, services and property group specialising in building and civil engineering, support services, public and private house building, property development and structured property financing. The Group employs nearly 11,000 people worldwide and has an annual revenue of £2.0bn. Kier Construction has worked successfully us to build the Macarthur Centre, Heath Lane hospital and subsequently at the on-going redevelopment works at Penn Hospital.
EE Recognising our Volunteers and Service Users Award
EE have had a long standing partnership with Black Country Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. EE's public sector division is based in Solihull and as a local supplier we are delighted in being able to support this event which recognises the great work that the staff and volunteers do.
Last year members of the EE team did volunteer work at Edward Street Hospital where staff helped with grounds works. The sense of pride that our staff felt at putting something back into the local community was felt throughout the team.
