Celebrating Learning Disability Week and 100 years of learning disability nursing

Our Trust is holding a number of events in its learning disability services across the Black Country this week to celebrate learning disability week (Monday 17th to Sunday 23rd June), and 100 years of learning disability nursing.

Learning disability services are offered across the four Boroughs of the Black Country and staff in each Borough will be promoting their services including: in Walsall members of the public are invited to join in our celebrations by popping along to our event at Walsall Manor Hospital, Moat Road, Walsall on Wednesday 19th June between 10am – 2.00pm. Staff will be manning an information stand in the reception area of the hospital to provide advice and information about the learning disability services available in Walsall.

This year’s theme for the week is sport and inclusion, and on Thursday 11th July our Dudley learning disability service is holding an event at Mary Steven’s Park, Stourbridge, DY8 2AA from 10am – 2.00pm.  This will be an interactive, fun day where members of the public can find out all about what services are available in Dudley whilst also joining our interactive fun.
