Research team seeking participants for Bulimia Nervosa study

Research and Innovation are seeking participants for their Naloxone study, that is looking to see if a nasal spray containing a well-known drug (naloxone hydrochloride) can help with the symptoms of bulimia nervosa.

Naloxone hydrochloride nasal spray is being developed for treating eating behaviours in patients with bulimia nervosa. The aim of this study is to find out how well the nasal spray affects binging and eating behaviours in patients with bulimia nervosa.

Patients who wish to participate must fit the following criteria:
  • Female aged 18 to 60 years
  • Diagnosis or symptoms of bulimia nervosa
  • Subjects reporting at least one binging day per week during screening
Eligibility will be fully assessed by the hospital team.
