Hundreds of qualified health care staff will get the change to learn more about a career in nursing at a two-day recruitment event being held to attact people to the Black Country and Birmingham.
The event, hosted by Royal College of Nursing at NEC Birmingham on 2nd – 3rd March, aims to highlight immediate vacancies to newly-qualified nurses, HCA’s and experienced nurses.
Black Country Partnership NHS Foundation Trust will be attending the event alongside partners Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and Dudley and Walsall Mental Health Partnership NHS Trust to showcase vacancies at each of the three Trusts.
Those who attend will also be given the chance to attend free seminars to help with everything from revalidation, preceptorship, advice on writing CVs and identifying strengths to improve with interview skills.
Tara Conlan, HR Advisor, said: “We will be hoping to recruit an array of staff over the two day event including nurses, occupational therapists and health care assistants.
“This is the chance to really find out everything you want to know about working in healthcare,” Tara added. “You will be able to ask any burning questions and get honest answers from our staff. We’re looking forward to an interesting and informative event.”
