Trust shortlisted for Employer of the Year at NHS Apprenticeship Recognition Awards

Stars ofthe futureBlack Country Partnership Foundation Trust has been shortlisted for Employer of the Year at Health Education England West Midlands NHS Apprenticeship Recognition Awards 2017.

'The Stars of the Future' Awards, hosted by Health Education England, celebrates, recognises and rewards the exceptional contributions that apprentices and apprenticeship employers bring to workplaces across the West Midlands.

Rebecca Crowther, Associate Director of Organisational Development said: “Apprenticeships are a fantastic opportunity for our Trust to grow our own team members with the kinds of skills and values that we need.”

“Apprentices are incredibly valuable to the Trust, so being recognised in the NHS Apprenticeship Recognition Awards is a big honour. We are delighted that we are shortlisted for this award and look forward to the ceremony in February.”

The Trust currently employs 39 apprentices within our workforce. The apprentice placement roles on offer include:

  • Clinical healthcare support (healthcare assistants in adult, older adult mental health care and learning disability services)
  • Corporate
  • Estates
  • Finance
  • Information Communications
  • Information Governance
  • Patient Engagement
  • Patient Experience
Depending on the role, apprentices will study either Business Administration or Health and Social Care.
