Trust bids farewell to Director of Nursing

Sheila (left) and Joyce celebrating International Nurses Day 2016.Black Country Partnership has this week said goodbye to Sheila Lloyd, Executive Director of Nursing, Allied Health Professionals, Psychological Professionals, Governance and Organisational Development (left of image) who has left the Trust to take up a new post as Director of Nursing at Southport and Ormskirk Hospital NHS Trust.

During her time at Black Country Partnership, Sheila has provided great leadership and has been a real champion for high quality patient care and staff development.

“My time here has truly been a pleasure. It has been a privilege to work with such a wonderful team in improving the Trust’s clinical governance, safeguarding and seeing the development of the AHP Board, Psychological Professionals Board and the Nursing Board,” said Sheila.

“I wish you all well and I will miss you”

The Trust’s current Deputy Director of Nursing, Joyce Fletcher, will be the Interim Executive Director of Nursing from Monday 14th November (right of image). She also has responsibility for Allied Health Professionals, Psychology Professionals and Governance.

Everyone at the Trust wishes Sheila all the best in her new role, and welcomes and supports Joyce as she takes up this exciting position.
