Event celebrates success of BCPFT apprentices

apprenticegroupphotoThe achievements of dedicated and hardworking apprentices working in the Trust were recognised at an awards celebration at The Beeches, Penn Hospital on Wednesday 26th October.

Heidi Cater, Head of Nursing for mental health services, welcomed a mixture of business admin and clinical apprentices to the ceremony, and shared her own nursing career pathway and experience working in the NHS. Heidi said “I am really pleased to be here with you today and feel very emotional hearing your stories which make feel proud to be a nurse”

Lynn Weston, Support Workforce Development Lead who arranged the event said “I am proud of the apprentices achievement and I have watched everyone grow in confidence."

"Apprentices are a great asset to the Trust and always keen to share new ideas and today is the really great part of my job seeing everyone succeed and secure a permanent job either with BCPFT or at another organisation”.
