National recognition for our service user involvement work

Trust staff, including our Director of Nursing, and Make a Difference group members attended the prestigious Nursing Times Awards at the Grosvenor Hotel in London last night. The group took to the red carpet to represent our shortlisted entry for the Enhancing Patient Dignity Award. Although we didn't win the overall prize we received a lot of praise and recognition of our work and were delighted to have made such a dazzling shortlist.

It was an exciting evening with much celebration of the dedication and commitment of nurses to the profession, and we didn't come away completely empty handed. We were delighted to be runner up for the Nursing Times Award twitter photo competition. A big thank you to the willing models from the Make a Difference group who volunteered to be snapped and photoshopped by the Trust's persuasive Communications Team. See our winning entry below:
