Walsall Meet your Governors

It's Walsall's turn to meet their Governors. On Saturday 18th May, members and non-members of the Trust can pop along to The Crossing at St Paul's Church, Darwall Street, Walsall, and question the Governors on health and wellbeing issues, between 10 am and 12 noon.

Governors are at the heart of our Trust. They are elected by local people and play a pivotal role representing not only the community but also stakeholder organisations.

"I became a governor to help improve services and assist members in Walsall to get their opinions heard," said Walsall Governor Doreen Till.

Mary Staples, also a Walsall Governor echoes the comments of Doreen, "I became a governor to represent the interests of members and to ensure they are engaged with service development."

Debra Attwood, Membership Support Manager: "The response from members who have attended the meetings in Wolverhampton, Sandwell and Dudley has been very encouraging.  Both members and governors alike have welcomed the opportunity to exchange information and discuss the services we provide."
