Who is our service for?
The admission service provides intensive assessment and treatment services for adults, aged 18 and over, with a moderate to severe learning disability and complex needs. Our short stay and reintegration services also provide for people with a learning disability and complex health needs.
How do we help?
We ensure that all clients’ needs are systematically assessed. Interventions are based on these assessments, with a view to skills development and a reduction in unwanted or undesirable behaviours so that clients can move on to more mainstream, community-based services.
We ensure that our staff team has the knowledge, skills and attitude that promotes patient-centred care in the least restrictive environment. Support for clients accessing these services is provided by a multi-disciplinary team of clinicians and support staff.
Who can refer into our service?
Referrals are received from the Community Team, Learning Disabilities (CTLD) the Children with Disabilities Team (CDT) and the Learning Disability Specialist Health Service Medical Staff Team.
