Who is our service for?
Children and young people up to the age of 18 who have life limiting conditions and complex healthcare needs, and their families
How do we help?
The team provides support usually in the child’s own home or at school. The team includes specialist children’s nurses and health care support workers and is supported by a Citizens Advice Bureau worker.
Who can refer into our service?
Referrals can be made by a variety of professionals.
What happens in an emergency?
In the event of a medical emergency contact your GP or hospital. The See-Saw service is not available overnight, weekends or on public holidays.
What about carers and families?
The team offers support to families and carers to assist in the children’s care including training and advice.
How do you contact us?
8am - 6pm, Monday to Friday, except public holidays. 4-6pm cover is provided for existing clients if the need arises.
