The classes, led by the Health and Wellbeing team, have been introduced after the Trust received funding from Sandwell Leisure Trust to run six weeks of exercise classes to help encourage staff to improve their fitness.
Boxercise brings together many of the skills boxers use to keep fit, such as press-ups, sit-ups, and hitting punch pads in groups of two.
Fitness instructor Simone said: "Boxercise is really good fun and combines a series of exercise that get the heart racing.
“Everybody is taught basic boxing techniques and then those are developed during the six weeks and judging by the response, the group really loved it!”
The workout provided by boxercise is intended to give participants a full body fitness session that will increase speed, strength, endurance, stamina and co-ordination. The sessions are set to continue every Wednesday at Delta House until 14th December.
