The Occupational Therapy team at Hallam Street marked World Mental Health Day by hosting a ‘Tea and Talk’ session to provide in-patients with an opportunity to engage in an informal social environment.
On Monday 10th October, patients and staff gathered to chat about a variety of things that they do to relax and stay healthy, mentally, as well as discussing how to tackle the stigma associated with mental health by helping to break down myths.
After the session participants were encouraged to make a promise to themselves and place this on the Hallam Street ‘Make a Promise’ pledge wall.
