Wolverhampton Healthy Minds Team is proud to support Suicide Prevention Week (5th – 11th September), by continuing to offer free emotional wellbeing checks across the City in partnership with other agencies.
Activities are taking place across the City all week to raise awareness of Suicide Prevention including:
• our Positive Participation (Asian Mental Health Service) wellbeing event in partnership with Jaivant Patel Dance Tiranga, taking place on Sunday 11th September,
• the sale of orange and yellow ribbons to raise funds for PAPYRUS, the national charity for the prevention of young suicide,
• Dudley Mind’s Jolly Joggers run in West Park on Saturday 4th September and much more.

On Thursday 8th September the team is encouraging people to wear orange to raise awareness of suicide and support prevention and open discussion, while on Friday 9th September the team will be offering checks at Bilston Health Centre.
