Be a voice for your community - Stand as a Governor

Nominations are now open for our Assembly of Governors. If you are passionate about listening to others and making sure their voices are heard, then why not stand as a Governor and make a real difference.

Our Governors play a pivotal role in binding the Trust to its patients, service users, staff, and stakeholders. They hold our Board to account and influence decision making by regularly checking on the Trust's performance. Governors are our link to our members and are responsible for regularly feeding back information about the Trust's vision and performance to the constituencies they representing.

We have the following positions available:

5 Public Governors in the following constituencies:

  • Wolverhampton (2 vacancies)
  • Sandwell (1 vacancy)
  • Birmingham & Wider West Midlands (1 vacancy)
  • Walsall (1 vacancy)

4 Staff Governors in the following constituencies:

  • Professional/Clinical (1 vacancy)
  • Nursing/Children's (1 vacancy)
  • Support Staff (1 vacancy)
  • Administrative & Management (1 vacancy)

All nomination papers should be received by the Returning Officer, John Box, at the address as detailed above, by Noon on Wednesday 13th May 2015.

Should any nominee wish to withdraw their nomination, they must put this in writing to the returning officer by 5pm on Monday 18th May 2015.

Ballot papers will be distributed to qualifying members on Friday 5th June 2015. Completed ballot papers must be received by the Independent Scrutineer by Noon on Tuesday 30th June 2015.
