The Trust's Family Nurse Partnership (FNP) team have been getting into the festive spirit with a special Christmas party for all their clients. Close to 100 adults including mums, dads and grandmothers and 68 babies and toddlers came together to join in the fun.
Activities included decorating baubles and making reindeer calendars with painted hand prints for antlers!
The team were delighted to see so many people attending the event and were inspired to hear stories like that of a young mum who insisted her child minder brought her baby to the party, so they didn't miss out, whilst she sat her mock A-level exams. This is fantastic to hear as one of the key aims of the programme is to inspire parents to stay in education/ employment and encourage self-efficacy.
A big thank you to Mothers Union who sponsored the food and presents for all the children at the party.
