Voting opens

Voting is well and truly underway for the next group of governors for the Trust. Elections are currently being held for public governors in Sandwell, Dudley and Walsall, as well as elections for staff governors.

Members of the Trust will have recently received their voting pack in the post. The closing date for voting papers to be received is the 3 July 2013 so members need to make sure they vote now!

Alison Barrett, Head of Corporate Services said: "Governors play a very important role in the running of the Foundation Trust. The governors are democratically elected by the members of the Foundation Trust, and it is their job to get the views of the members, and also the wider public about the work the Foundation Trust undertakes.

"The governors will feed the information to the Board of Directors to help them make the correct decisions, and also make sure they have the right quality services for people in the Black Country."
